The recycling of materials is an alternative to preventing improper disposal of the materials after they lose their major utilities.
To draw world attention to the importance of the improper disposal of plastic bottles and other materials that end up coming to the oceans, a boat made from 12,500 recycled plastic bottles arrived on Monday (26) to the port of Sydney, after four months crossing the Pacific Ocean.
The Plastik is a catamaran of 18 meters in length. The crew of six people, said they have faced severe storms during the crossing, which began on March 20 in San Francisco, California.
The idea rose after a UN report in 2006.
The boat is almost entirely made of bottles get together by organic glue made from sugarcane and cashew, but also includes other materials.
The journey of Plastik is considered a day of trash to triumph, "said Jeffrey Bleich, U.S. ambassador of Australia, which received the team.
Another young British designer, only 24 years old, worried about the planet and therefore works with the dissemination of the concept "eco-luxury" that unites luxury with sustainability.
The newest creation of the young British is Soliloquy, a giant yacht, which uses solar energy, wind power and sea power, to sail without polluting the environment.
The boat has 58 feet and has the capacity to comfortably accommodate 15 people, spread across its four rooms and a gym. The construction of the vessel also has the principles of "eco-luxury," it was made entirely with sustainable wood, recycled leather and natural fibers. The yacht is beautiful and ecologically correct.
What about you? would have the courage to sail the oceans in a boat built with PET bottles?
May be we dont have the courage of sailing in sea with the help of plastic bottles but we can save the waste and go for recycle of all those things which can be recycled.
